B.Sc. Nursing - 4 Years

Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate for admission into B.Sc., Nursing 4 year degree course should have completed 17 years and should not be more 25 years as on 31 December of the year admission. N.B.: Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 3 years in case of SC & ST candidates.

Educational Institutions:

Should have passed Intermediate Examination with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or Intermediate vocational (Nursing) Examinations conducted by the Board of Intermediate Examinations, Andhra Pradesh or any Examination recognized as equivalent there to and. 
Should have secured not less than 45% of marks in the optional subjects of the Intermediate Examination or equivalent examination. In case of SC & ST candidates, it shall be not less than 40% of marks

Duration of the Course:

B.Sc., Nursing degree course shall be FOUR YEARS. There shall be preliminary period of 12weeks. The additional six months has been earmarke for intership so that the candidates should be able to develop desired competencies

GNM, Nursing Schools

General Nursing & MIDWIFERY (GNM) - 3YRS

Eligibility Criteria:

For entering into this nursing course, any female candidate who has passes either Inter, P.U.C. (10+2) or any equivalent examination recognized by a Government Examining Board is required

Age:

At the time of admission, the student should have completed 17 years and should not have completed 35 years.

Age Relaxation:

For SC/ST/BC are as per Govt. Orders Un-Married/Divorce without any encumbrances are only eligible for studying this course.

Medical Fitness:

A student should be medically fit at the time of joining the course. She has to produce a medical fitness certificate from any authorized medical practitioner
